San Blas Islands<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Lying off the\u00a0<\/span><b>coast of Panama<\/b><span>, this archipelago is made up of\u00a0<\/span><b>365 tiny islands<\/b><span>, of which just 60 are inhabited. The<\/span><b><span>\u00a0<\/span>Kuna<\/b><span>\u00a0people who dwell here live simply in wood and straw huts. An unpredictable three-hour journey from Panama City, the San Blas Islands are all surrounded by a crystal-clear lagoon and ringed with coconut trees. The food, which mainly consists of fish (and lobster on a really lucky day), the makeshift shelters and the hammock beds put the finishing touches to this picture-perfect image. Fernando de Noronha Archipelago<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/escales.ponant.com\/archipel-fernando-noronha-bresil\/\">Boasting deserted beaches, warm water and volcanic reefs, this archipelago<\/a><span>\u00a0in\u00a0<\/span><b>northeast Brazil<\/b><span>\u00a0could just as easily have served as Daniel Defoe\u2019s inspiration for his novel. Its some\u00a0<\/span><b>26 km\u00b2<\/b><span>\u00a0of rarity and riches were made a\u00a0<\/span><b>national park<\/b><span>\u00a0in 2001 and listed as a\u00a0<\/span><b>UNESCO World Heritage site<\/b><span>\u00a0shortly afterwards, which is why the number of visitors is restricted. You won\u2019t be able to visit these islands at the last minute on a sudden whim. You have to plan an expedition to this paradise. Ba\u00eda do Sancho offers one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, and it is used by turtles as a nesting site. The Lacepede Islands<\/h3>\n<div class=\"line align-rtl\">\n<div class=\"bloc-text\">\n<div class=\"text-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>If you head to\u00a0<\/span><b>Australia<\/b><span>, off the coast of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/escales.ponant.com\/zoom-kimberley-perle-sauvage-australienne\/\">Kimberley<\/a><span>\u00a0about 120 kilometres north of Broome, there lie four islands largely covered with sand where you\u2019ll come across more crocodiles and sharks than people. Less \u2018picture-postcard\u2019 than the islands of the South American archipelago, the Lacepede Islands are a designated\u00a0<\/span><b>nature reserve<\/b><span>\u00a0and Western Australia\u2019s most important breeding habitat for\u00a0<\/span><b>green turtles<\/b><span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><b>seabirds<\/b><span>. Humans are only welcome if they tread lightly. Nature there is not just diverse, but resilient too, as the wind carves out the landscapes. Preikestolen<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>A different hemisphere provides different feelings. The life of an\u00a0<\/span><b>adventurer at the ends of the Earth<\/b><span>\u00a0does not have to involve the idyllic landscapes of the southern hemisphere. It can be experienced just as well at an altitude of 604 metres on Preikestolen, in\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/escales.ponant.com\/saga-viking\/\"><b>Norway<\/b><\/a><span>. In English, the name of this cliff overlooking the\u00a0<\/span><b>Lysefjord<\/b><span>\u00a0means \u201cPulpit Rock\u201d or \u201cPreacher\u2019s Chair\u201d after the raised part of the church from which priests preach to the congregation. That says it all. Eilean Shona<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Five hours from\u00a0<\/span><b>Glasgow<\/b><span>, where Loch Moidart meets the Atlantic Ocean, you can enjoy\u00a0<\/span><b>Highland spirit<\/b><span>\u00a0at its purest in the splendour of untouched ancestral Scotland. At\u00a0<\/span><b>5 km\u00b2<\/b><span>, the island is home to mountains that peak at nearly 300 m and dense forests filled with frolicking deer, otters and squirrels. Well-hidden on the western shore, a white sand beach bathed by the turquoise water of the ocean is the realm of a small band of seals.
