In the late 1960s, the artist and environmental activist created places which allowed art and architecture to blend into the island\u2019s volcanic nature. <strong>Jameos del Agua<\/strong> is a beautiful example of this, its lava cave hiding an underground lake and spaces sculpted into the rock.
